Being married to someone with a terminal illness, you view life very differently and have conversations you never pictured yourself having. One day, I thought to myself what my very Italian grandmother would think of these conversations, and the idea for With Dignity was born.
2023 O’Neill Semi-Finalist
It’s official! With Dignity was selected as a semi-finalist for the 2023 O’Neill National Playwright’s Conference! To be considered among so many other amazing writers and their stories is truly an honor. I can’t wait to see what is in store next for this piece.
CyberTank presents With Dignity

Originally, my first play Scar Tissue was slated to make it’s debut with The Tank in NYC. Due to COVID-19, things did not work out. However, the wonderful team at The Tank did not forget me! They offered me a slot in their virtual programming - CyberTank! Since Scar Tissue already had a virtual premiere with SheNYC, I decided to move forward on With Dignity! The response has been incredible, from the cast and the viewers.

With Dignity @ The Bechdel Group
The Bechdel Group is a New York City based theatre company. Their purpose is to foster writers writing for women by producing free readings, events, and performances that feature dynamic female roles. They also aim to foster an active and engaged community of actors, playwrights, directors, dramaturgs, and theatre lovers. All plays presented had to pass the Bechdel Test - 1. Have two female characters with names 2. Who speak to each other 3. About something other than romantic relationships - and With Dignity definitely passes the test! We were originally slated to read in March of 2020 - but we all know what happened then! The Bechdel Group moved their readings online and we had a very successful reading with a dream cast!
